In This Skin, the debut full length release from Callee.

The upcoming album launch for Brisbane artist Callee is one of the most locally anticipated music events on the calendar. Her powerful voice can be heard accompanied by an all star band at the Press Club on Thursday 17th November, 2011 @ 7.00pm.

The launch of In This Skin has been 5 years in the making having worked with some of the best musicians and producers in the country.

Between songs Callee will explain where her inspirations come from and how everyone can understand the emotions she puts on stage. From family, friends and love her material runs the gamut and will be a delight for any review.

“I write songs from the heart about events and situations that have happened in my life. I like to make my music as accessible as possible for listeners and for them to feel like I’m singing their stories. One of the biggest compliments I often get after performing is that people identify with my lyrics.”

Having already shared the stage with the likes of Pete Murray and Busby Marou, the night is sure to mark the beginning of a successful journey for the 24-year-old.
